Delamere Forest School- artists in residence

Next week as part of our holocaust related project Kindness, Phil and I will be ‘artists in residence’ at Delamere Forest School, in Cheshire ( http://www.delamereschool.org.uk/ ). It’s a Jewish special needs centre, catering for pupils aged 6 to 17, we will be there Monday to Thursday running workshops combining text and art. We’re hoping some of the work produced during the week will be exhibited as part of Holocaust Memorial Day activities next year. We will investigate with the pupils through art and poetry: identity, fear, bullying, acceptance, difference, kindness and aspiration… We’ll be posting more blogs, poems and photos during the week here and at http://arthur-and-martha-poems.blogspot.com/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/arthur-and-martha
